The OECD Development Centre, in partnership with the Italian presidency of the Women 20 (W20), invites you to the Roundtable, “From insights to action: gender equality in G20 countries”.

The roundtable will aim to:

  • Provide insights on where G20 countries stand in terms of discriminatory social institutions and what are the most difficult challenges and constraints faced by women and girls;
  • Highlight good practices and innovative approaches on how to tackle discriminatory social institutions;
  • Highlight transformative policy options for G20 countries to accelerate progress towards gender equality and women’s empowerment.

The discussion will be based on the report, “Ending gender-based discrimination in G20 countries: a frame for action”, produced at the request of the Italian Presidency of the W20.
