Do you think, just like Beauvoir, that existence precedes the essence, i.e. that one wasn't born a woman but becomes one - or that women are different - the "Other" - by essence ?
According to Beauvoir, existence precedes that essence, i.e. one wasn't born a woman but becomes one.
