Special Focus - Women surpass men in wanting a high-paying career
From wikigender.org
Although both women and men still consider marriage and family as top priorities in their lives, women now value having a high-paying career or profession more than men. According to survey findings from the Pew Research Center released on 19 April, two-thirds (66%) of young women ages 18 to 34 rate career high on their list of life priorities, compared with 59% of young men. This is a clear change from 1997, where 56% of young women and 58% of young men felt the same way. Read more and see how the media around the world have been covering these findings.
