Special Focus - 16 Days of Activism

16 Days of Activism is an international campaign calling for an end to violence against women. From the 25 November to the 10 of December thousands of organisations and individuals across the globe will took a stand against gender-based violence. The 16 day campaign focuses on 3 pillars of: prevention, protection and provision of services. Based on country data available , up to 70 per cent of women experience physical or sexual violence from men in their lifetime – the majority by husbands, intimate partners or someone they know.
